So we drove to Dillon Colorado and stayed in a Condo in Keystone. It is so beautiful up here. So God like. God is totally awesome! All these trees and the Colorado River, which we’ve followed all the way in. It’s just so awesome! Thank you God for all your beauty and glory in the midst of life! So, we ate at Ruby Tuesday last night. It was awesome! Some really great food there! (We just saw the water (from the melted now) just coming off the mountains.) There is still snow here up on/in the mountain tops! Anyways, we watched some of the Opening Ceremonies, an hour of it, and then we ate dinner and talked and cried for 2 hours, and then we finished the opening ceremonies and watched a DVD slide show that Dawn made for us. It made me cry again. It makes me want to go back. I have this tug in my heart to be there. I did my quiet time outside this morning. It was 42 degrees. Cold, but it felt so good out there. We’ll be going through Kansas today and they say East Colorado is just about as fun as Kansas in the scenery department, so we’ll have 10 really long boring hours of driving and then we’ll be home. But, I do have questions, like what could I bring to St. George? What could I (through God of course) do for St. George? Besides being a blessing? (Everyone keeps telling me I’m such a blessing to be around. (Although I don’t understand exactly that means, I’ll accept it and believe it.)) But, St. George has some awesome wonderful people! The people/families I met there are unlike any other! I made friendships in St. George Utah unlike any I’ve ever made in Oklahoma. It’s unbelievable how in 1 week I made stronger bonds with Jacque, Crystal, Patty, John, Dawn, Ronnie, Angie, Kym, Julie and Jerry than I have after 6 years in Perry, Oklahoma. (I have a few friends here in OK, and they know who they are, but for the most part, everyone else is really just acquaintances that I see on the street or Sunday mornings when they show up for church.) To me, a real friend is someone you can confine in and someone who you keep in touch with. Crazy isn’t it? I’m very torn between where God wants me right now in my life. Well, we’re coming off the mountain top, all down hill from here!
We are now in Denver, 8:10 am!
