Tuesday 08-05-08 Day 5We went door to door again dropping off DVD’s. I went by this one house, sign says “Brand new home for sale”. I go to leave a DVD “God please don’t make me talk. Please…” (These were my prayers to GodJ.) (This neighborhood was full of construction men…)
The head construction guy says, “No ones home.”
Duh I think to myself, I can read, but I say, “I’ll just leave it at the door, in case someone stops by and wants to pick it up.”
Head guy “Well, what is it?”
Me, “A DVD”
Guy “What type of DVD?”
Me “Joseph Smith vs. Jesus Christ”
He says “Hum, I just might take that myself.”
I ask if he needs more than one and tell him “God bless.”
God had me talk that morning.
Tuesday afternoon I went to Julie’s house. I just read my book and cat napped mostly. I got to meet her friend Danny. She was very nice and out spoken. I had a good afternoon.
Tuesday evening—house fellowship, which normally meets at houses, met at the church! There was lots of talking, then singing, then praying and more singing. It was really awesome! It was amazing!
